Letter of Intent:

NYS homeschooling letter of intent is a letter a parent or guardian of a child files to the superintendent of the school district declaring an intention to establish a new homeschool program.

According to the NYS Homeschool laws, a parent files this letter within 14 days of withdrawing of a child from public school or July 1st (beginning of the school year) to avoid truancy charges.

  • Name and Address of Student
  • Age of student (Date of Birth)
