Eligibility requirements for the Vegetarian Scholarship

  • Applicants must be in their final year in any high school in the United States.
  • Applicant must demonstrate an active role and a strong commitment to promoting a vegan diet and lifestyle. 
  • Applicant must go on to attend college or university in the United States.

The vegetarian scholarship, just like many other scholarships for education, requires that applicants will write and submit an essay.

In the case of this vegetarian scholarship, there’s no topic for the essay, but the vegetarian resource group asks every applicant to address the following issues in their essays:

Applicants will not have to fill out an application form but will submit a cleanly typed document containing their personal information. Part of what will be required in that document are:

Alongside the transcript, three letters of recommendation will be submitted too, and one of them must be from a teacher in your school.

Finally, the applicant will also submit a document in relation to their promotion of vegetarianism.

The organizers of the vegetarian scholarship will continue to receive submissions until the 20th of February, 2023.
