When going abroad to study, the decision of what to, and what not to pack, is usually a difficult one. Normally, what to pack often depends on your destination of study, your course of study, and the length of your stay. Irrespective of these, there are essentials that must make the trip. Compiled below is my version of the study abroad packing list/ International travel Packing List from my years of travel and study in different countries of the world.

Study Abroad Meaning:

To study abroad means to travel out of your country to a new country, to achieve knowledge and earn a degree. The study program may last for a year or more depending on the course of study. For instance, a Ph.D. program may take about three to four years to complete if you study abroad.

What does Travel abroad Mean?

Travel abroad really means to visit or move to a foreign country. It could be for a definite purpose like Study, Tourism, business, or a vacation. The duration doesn’t really matter.

Travel abroad could be from gaining a scholarship to study in your dream foreign country or to be a part of a study abroad program that will enable the student to travel out of his/her country, learn a new language like German, English or any other language.

For instance, if you traveling during the winter, it’s advisable to go with a double sweater, enough socks, and hand gloves to cater yourself to the cold weather there.
