The UV SoM offers Doctor of Medicine (Masters Degree) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, with thousands of graduates from the school. It is also in affiliation with the University of Virginia Health System and Inova Health System, having a faculty-student ratio is 1.7:1.

The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine offers Doctor of Medicine (Masters Degree) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, with thousands of graduates from the school.

It also offers a one-year Premedical Graduate Certificate Program to improve the qualification of the graduate and prepare them for higher education. The faculty-student ratio is 2.2:1.

You need a Grade point average(GPA) of 3.78 and an MCAT score of 512 to be admitted into Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. The application deadline for UV SoM is Oct 15.

Eastern Virginia Medical School was founded in 1973 by local philanthropists. According to Wikipedia, EVMS is most known for its reproductive medicine, simulation/standardized-patient education as well as research in pediatrics, geriatrics, diabetes, and cancer. It was founded by grassroots efforts in the southeastern part of Virginia known as Hampton Roads.

Every year, about 5,000 students seek to study in EVMS for a class size of only 150 students. The students are selected using multiple methods, and the best are selected to study.

The U.S. News and World Report in 2021 ranked it as the 94-112th best medical school in research and also the 49th best medical school in Primary care.

The school offers Doctor of Medicine (Masters Degree) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, with thousands of graduates from the school. The faculty-student ratio is 0.9:1.

Admission Requirements:

You need a Grade point average(GPA) of 3.78 and an MCAT score of 512 to be admitted into Eastern Virginia Medical School. The application deadline for UV SoM is Nov 15 with an application fee of $100.

Tuition Cost:

It costs about $32,456 (in-state) , $56,382 (out-of-state) as for Eastern Virginia Medical School. The 4-year MD-granting program school provides scholarship opportunities for students as financial aids to ease the high cost of learning in the school. Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is located in Roanoke, Virginia. It is in partnership with Fralin Biomedical Research Institute. The public medical school was founded on January 3, 2007, by Dr. Cynda Ann Johnson. It became an official college of Virginia Tech on July 1, 2018.

Due to the strict selection policy for applicants, in 2020, only 46 students were selected for matters degree out of 4,611 applicants.

Close to half of VCOM graduates are from rural communities and are working hard to grow the number of physicians in their communities. VCOM is rising to the second-largest medical school in the U.S.

The U.S. News and World Report in 2021 ranked it as the 94-122th best medical school in research and also the 94-122th best medical school in Primary care.

The school offers Doctor of Medicine (Masters Degree) to her graduates. The faculty student ratio is 0.1:1.

Admission Requirements:

You need a Grade point average(GPA) of 3.55 and an MCAT score of 500 to be admitted into VCOM. The application deadline for VCOM is March 1 with an application fee of $50.

Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine is a Christian private osteopathic medical school. It is the second osteopathic medical school after VCOM(Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine). It is located in Lynchburg, VA under the Liberty University. LUCOM was established in 2012 to help osteopathic physicians develop better knowledge in their field.

There are no rankings in U.S. News and World Report. It is accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA).

Degree Programs:

The school offers Doctor of Medicine (Masters Degree) to her graduates. The deadline for the application into LUCOM is 3rd January 2021.
