Create Your Crossword Puzzle:
The first step is to create an account at Crossword Hobbyist.
After logging in, go to “My Puzzles” in the navigation bar and select “Create Newspaper Puzzle” from the drop-down menu. Finally, create a 15X15 grid for your puzzle.
Unlock the Puzzle:
In the crossword hobbyist scholarship, once you’ve finished your puzzle, send an email to scholarship@crosswordhobbyist.com and they’ll waive the charge for publishing it. You’ll get an email within 24 hours verifying that your puzzle has been unlocked.
Publish Your Puzzle:
You must publish your puzzle to enter. After contacting customer service, your crossword will be unlocked and you can publish it for free.
Just press the “Publish” button. Something should be incorrect if you are asked to pay for your puzzle.
Officially Enter Your Puzzle:
Following the publication of your puzzle, fill out the short form below to apply for the scholarship. By the application deadline, you must have completed your application form.

The application deadline for the Cross Hobbyist Scholarship is May 2nd, 2022. More so, only crossword puzzles in the manner of a newspaper will be considered for the scholarship.
