A university is a large institution offering hundreds of graduate and undergraduate programs. Due to its large nature, it can enroll thousands of students who are carefully selected for a specific program. A university offers extra degree programs like Master’s degree and PH.D.
A University is open, such that there are lots of great professors and teachers, who are oriented and love researching so much. That is why Universities give more attention to research than theory works. On the other hand, this is a difference between College and University.
Types of University:
Public University: A Public University is one that is state-owned or received the right amount of funding from the government. It is always larger than a Private university.
Private University: A Private University is one that is founded by an individual or a group of people. The funds for the school are obtained from the tuition fees and the endowment funds of the founders.
