National Space Club Keynote Scholarship

The National Space Club and Foundation is a non-profit organization that brings together business, government, academia, and private individuals to support the United States’ leadership in space, rocketry, astronautics, and related technologies.

The National Space Club and Foundation fosters the National Space Club Keynote Scholarship which is open to seniors in high school.

Eligibility for the National Space Club Keynote Scholarship 2022-2023:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Seniors in high school through graduate students are eligible for the scholarship.
  • The candidate must intend to pursue a career in the STEM areas and intend to enroll in a recognized US college or university.
  • The $10,000 scholarship can only be used for tuition in the academic year 2022-2023.
  • The candidate must not have spoken at the Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner previously.
  • In the same year, the applicant may apply for any of the National Space Club and Foundation’s scholarships (Olin E Teague Scholarship and/or Keynote Scholarship), but they can only win one.

By December 3, 2021, at 11:59:59 PM EST, the completed application and video must be uploaded to the National Space Club and Foundation website.

Scholarship Award and Dr. Robert H.Goddard Memorial Dinner:

  • If accepted to proceed, the recipient must be ready for a live video conference audition with the NSCF executive committee in January 2022.
  • The winner must be able to speak at the Goddard Memorial Dinner in 2022 (date to be determined). The National Space Club and Foundation will cover travel and housing for the recipient and one visitor.
  • No later than June 30, 2022, a scholarship check will be delivered to the college or university, payable to the applicable institution or university.
