As announced by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), registration for the MET 2021 counselling 5TH round has commenced, and it’s still ongoing.

Interested candidates can now apply and fill in their desired choice on or before the closing date stated for September 20, 2021.

Results of the Phase 2 MET Exam 2021 were released on July 6, 2021. This information, along with results and ranks, was made known to applicants via their emails.

Phase 2 exam was conducted from June 11 to June 14 and was conducted by remote proctored online test because of the covid-19 virus. Phase 1 was held in April from the 16th to the 20th.

MET Exam Registration:

To register for the MET exam, interested candidates can follow the detailed steps below: 

  • Step 1: Visit the Manipal Academy of Higher Education official website
  • Step 2: Stroll down to where you see “Apply Now” and click on it.
  • Step 3: Provide the specified information.
  • Step 4: Now proceed to complete your application by clicking on “Submit”.

An email would be sent to each candidate who applied for the MET exam through the email provided in Step 4 for confirmation of their registration and login information.

Steps to fill the MET Exam application form

  • Step 1: Visit the Manipal Academy of Higher Education official website.
  • Step 2: Click on “Apply Now” and provide the login information to get signed in.
  • Step 3: Provide the required information in the application form.
  • Step 4: Pay the MET exam application fee.
  • Step 5: Upload scanned copies of educational documents.
  • Step 6: Review your application, then submit. It is advisable to keep a copy of the printout.

Registration fees for MET Exam

Based on the just-concluded MET 2021 exam, it cost Rs. 600 to register for all given courses and Rs. 1,400 to register selected courses.

Payment of registration fees is online. However, here are the documents required to fill the MET exam application form:

  • Internship Details for Pharmacy Candidates
  • Graduation Marksheet
  • Class 12 Marksheet
  • Provisional Graduation Certificate
  • Class 10 Marksheet
  • Caste Certificate (If Required)

The files above must be scanned input PDF format and not greater than 1MB in size. 

Candidates also need to upload scanned copies of their passport photograph and signature.

MET Exam Venues

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, MET exams has been limited to taking place online. Remote Proctored Test is the means MET exam is conducted, making it possible for candidates to take the MET exam at their convenience.

MET Exam Online Test Slot Blocking (OTSB)

Applicant’s OTBS passwords would be sent to them via email a week after the MET EXAM. The password would be received by only candidates who completed their application. Candidates can log in using their OTBS password and MET application ID.

Met Exam E-Hall Ticket

As soon as the candidate completes OTBS, the e-Hall Ticket will be created. If any issue arises regarding the e-Hall Ticket, candidates can send an email to the university’s admission unit.

At admission, the candidate is to present their MET e-Hall Ticket to their respective department.

How to check MET Exam Merit List

After the year’s MET exam, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education would release its first official admission list, also known as the Merit list.

This admission list is a compilation of candidates who gained admission into the Manipal Academy of Higher Education by surpassing their respective cut-off marks at the MET exam.

The Merit list is usually uploaded on the school’s official website, and prospective students can go ahead to check if their names appear on the merit list.

  • Step 2: Go ahead to click on “MET Merit List”.
  • Step 3: Provide your login information to proceed.

MET Counselling:

After releasing the merit list, candidates with admission into the Manipal Academy of Higher Education would be invited for counselling.

Allocation of seats is based on the criteria listed below:

  • Candidate score in the MET exam.
  • MET exam cut off for that year.
  • Seats available for candidates’ choice of course.
  • The number of applicants who chose a similar course.
