NBME Voucher ID

NBME Voucher ID is a secure network service provider (NSP) that allows approved medical school users to access student information.

It works for variety of activities related to the United State Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), NBME subject examinations, NSAS Voucher Program, and other services.

One User Account Administrator (UAA) is allocated to each medical school; they are responsible for creating Voucher ID numbers and also give access to the students portal and their responsibilities.

This article will explain NBME voucher ID, the NSAS, the Voucher payment method and many more.

About NBME voucher ID:

This is offered to medical students, medical education organizations, residency programs, and the Institution.

NBME Voucher ID is a Network Service Provider (NSP) that secures websites and provides information on students’ actions related to the USMLE, NSAS, NBME topic exams, and other services.

The UAA also assigns consumers to the NSAS Voucher Service, which is the NBME Store and Voucher Information Program’s front.

NB: The NBME User Account Administrators (UAA) can only create accounts for residency programs and medical organizations/schools, as well as assign users NSAS Voucher Services privileges.

On the other hand, medical institutions usually acquire voucher IDs for self-assessment through an online NBME Store that assigns specific form numbers.

They can also download prepaid voucher IDs and dispense them to students who are requesting an NSAS; each NBME voucher ID has a Track (the redemption of vouchers for).

Moreso, with an NBME voucher ID, you can track your voucher expiration and self-assessment completion, as well as see your results.

NBME Voucher ID: NBME Self-Assessment Services (NSAS)

NBME Self-Assessment Services (NSAS) are available for domestic and international medical students and graduates.

They allow med students to evaluate their readiness for USMLE Step 1, Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK), and Step 3.

The majority of courses are designed to guide and assist students in preparing for the NBME test, which is a Web-based self-assessment; these include self-assessments in Comprehensive Basic Science, Clinical Science, and Clinical Medicine.

The Clinical Science Mastery Series is designed to help medical students measure their knowledge of clinical sciences.

On the other hand, to ensure patient safety, the International Foundations of Medicine (IFOM) and Clinical Science Examination is designed for students preparing for the exam or anybody seeking to assess medical knowledge and clinical science comprehension.

Facts about NBME Self-assessment Services (NBME)

The self-assessment services are not designed to predict results on the USMLE or NBME subject exams.

Instead, the self-assessments aim to be used as a tool to guide and determine a participant’s strengths and weaknesses in general topic areas in the medical field.

The NBME makes this self-assessment and service program information available solely for educational purposes.

NBME Voucher ID: How to use the Voucher payment method

Only credit cards can be used to pay for services with vouchers (Visa or MasterCard only).

Orders for self-assessment vouchers can only be placed using a credit card or an account credit that is available within 15 minutes of placing the order.

When using account credit, make sure the credit is equal to or less than the balance due. Moreover, payments cannot be split into two payment methods.

Once the orders are submitted, payment methods cannot be changed.

Moreso, if you pay by check or wire, the vouchers won’t be available until the order is paid in full.

A confirmation e-mail with an invoice is sent immediately after the order is submitted. The order history tab allows users to access and view all current and previous order history.

NBME Voucher ID: How to cancel NBME voucher Orders

Cancellations can only be made through the NBME Store.

After users open the Order History page, they will access and click on the order number and select the “Cancel” button.

NB: If the orders have already been fulfilled and the vouchers have been generated, users may not select this option.

Cancellation can only be made by submitting a cancellation request to support@nbme.org.

The Voucher Information Program (VIP)

Institutions can assign a form to vouchers, download and distribute voucher IDs to medical students, track voucher activity, check and monitor assessment completion, and examine performance data using the VIP system.

When users log in to VIP, they’ll be taken to the Voucher Order History page, where they’ll be able to see voucher IDs for previous orders.

Users can access their institution’s entire voucher order history by selecting “All Vouchers” from the “Select View” drop-down menu located in the left-hand corner above the voucher history table.

Moreover, a link is provided which allows the user to view new voucher IDs and expiration dates.

The link also allows the user to track voucher activity, students name, voucher ID used, self-assessment status (launched versus completed), form selected, timing mode, scaled score, and a performance feedback report.
