The Monash Mentor Scholarships are non-deferrable scholarships designed to acknowledge students who excel as mentors in the Access Monash or Monash Peer mentoring programs.
Mentors have the opportunity to gain important employability skills while guiding high school or first-year university students.
This scholarship is based on academic achievement, as well as the written application and interview performance of the Monash Mentor.
The Monash Mentor Scholarship recognizes students who thrive as mentors through the Access Monash or Monash Peer mentoring programs.
While helping high school or first-year university students, mentors have the opportunity to develop critical employability skills.
This award is open to new students who have an ATAR of at least 80.00 and to current students who have a minimum Weighted Average Mark of at least 65 percent.
The Monash Mentor Scholarship is intended to assist students who would not be able to volunteer on their own, and hence priority will be given to students from under-represented areas.
The Monash Mentor Scholarships are worth up to $16,000.
Moreover, preference will be given to students from underrepresented communities and, in the case of the Access Monash program, to those who can conduct face-to-face mentoring at Access Monash partner schools in Melbourne’s outer south-eastern suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula region.

This scholarship is available to new students with an ATAR of at least 80.00 and current students with a minimum Weighted Average Mark of at least 65%.
Current Monash students may apply between 17th January and 4th March (2 pm) 2022.
