Adolescent girls go through a lot of trauma as they transition from childhood to adulthood. That was why Eva Carlston Academy came into place to help these girls find a place, a life, and a passion in society.
The amazing thing about the program is that there are no religious affiliations and an average length of stay of about 12 months.
The academy is for girls alone, although there are guys that help to teach girls how to build a strong relationship with a guy and develop a relationship from scratch.

Eva Carlston Academy, as a treatment program, has noticed some of the misconceptions parents have about their female children and thus created a learning structure to help educate the girls and change their philosophy of who they are.
It is done by therapists and teachers who have gained experience in their respective fields on how to help girls by providing some therapies and programs.
These teachers are mentors who can help girls discover their passion, zeal, drive, and reason to move on with life. On the other hand, they help girls find a place in society to develop a voice in what they love to do.

Location of studies:
According to Eva Carlston, the program takes place in three elegantly appointed houses at 4943 Wasatch Blvd, urban Salt Lake City, giving girls an intimate sense of home that help them feel safe, valued, and at ease.
With its exposure to the urban region, girls can gain exposure to extracurricular activities like theater performances, mountain sports, etc.
Having only 12 – 16 girls per house, in-depth friendships develop quickly, and each girl finds her unique voice at what she does. The girls readily have all their resources and books for immediate studies and comprehension.
Are Guys Included:
The academy is only for girls. The only guys you see are professional instructors, role models, mentors, and teachers.

Admission into Eva Carlston Academy:
The age for application into the academy is 12-18, with a maximum enrollment of about 44 girls. It enrolls grades 7 – 12 and a few college students with a student-to-teacher ratio of 1:8.
It’s generally not for all girls, it’s of girls who have an emotional impediment and want to be relieved to live a free life. The admission process requires that a student have one or more of these issues according to the admission unit:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Defiance & behavioral issues
- ADHD
- Sexual Abuse
- Addictions
- Eating disorders
- Suicidal ideation
- Substance abuse
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Bipolar Disorder
